Hi everyone ! I've done my training and currently use Xen-Tan, I've sprayed a few friends and i can't get it right ! ! ! ! Just to get an idea of other people's advise PLEASE ! ! How much solution do you use i And the nozzle, do you have it on a very low setting so its just a mist or half way or full on i They didn't tell me that on the training but it came out lovely and not with run marks of solution down the body and the arm pits . I spray tanned my brother and the amount of tan that came of on the bed sheets was stupid (it was very hot) i'm finding very difficult i've tried a few ways. I promise i do have a brain lol. Hi, Rebecca. . . . I have a maxi-mist ( hvlp5008) machine and have it turned down at the lowest it will go. . . . Just before the spray won't come out . . . I keep it at this all the time . . . . . . I use roughly between 30-50mls per client depending on there size . . . . . When i started out I was using 80mls + ! . . . . . . I spray clients once all over then check for any parts missed then lightly mist over again . . . . With the compressors i think you can use use alot less . . . . . . . . But don't worry about how much your using , as long as its not running of them . . . . . Also some solutions have a much better guide colour than others going on so you know you have applied enough . . . . . Just relaX , practice more and you will get there . . . Watch some videos on you tube about spray tanning and read some off the old posts on here for more advice . . . . You will be fine . . . X

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply, I think i am using to much solution and i have my machine on high so i will try and use less and turn it down a lot i think thats my problem lol ! ! ! I'm trying to get all my friends to let me tan them, I am doing one of my friends tonight, wish me luck lol x x x x

Hiya, Collors talks a lot of sense (as usual). Just to add that the amount of excess colour guide that is left on bedsheets varies hugely from person to person. With me it looks like a gruesome incident has taken place, yet others I spray tan leave behind virtually nothing (not fair! ) xx

Everyone has been lovely on here, I'm so glad i found this forum. Well good news i sprayed two of my good friends last night and they have turned out FAB ! ! Just hope its not a flook lol ! ! ! I have turned the machine right right down and only put 50mls of solution in the bottle so i cant overspray, with practice I'm sure i wont have to do this. Thanks Guys x x x x

I find that with XEn Tan, you can't tEll how much you arE using as thE guidE colour is not as prominEnt. I usE SiEnna X Tan which sEEms to work bEttEr. I havE thE TruE Spray and I unscrEw thE silvEr bolt on thE gun a full turn oncE thEn anothEr half a turn if nEEd bE. SomEtimEs I adjust thE scrEw to suit Each cliEnts skin tonE, i. E. a littlE big morE for darkEr pEoplE so morE solution comEs out on thEm HOpE this hElps!

I find the same problem with Xen-Tan but i do find there product lovely just got to really look hard to se where the spray has gone but develops really nice, just had a sample of A-Tan going to give that a go to. I like the sound of Sienna X as my daughter is called Sienna lol ! ! ! Thank u x x x x
