Hi all I was wondering, i am VERY over weight, i have just started to see endocrinologist for a gland problem. Anyways, i really want a spray tan to make me feel better, I am just embarrassed about getting undressed in front of other people. Do any of you spray fatties like me or should i give it a miss? Hi there, although I can't help with actually doing your spray tan, I just wanted to let you know that there's no need to worry just because you're overweight. Very, very few of my clients are confident whilst being spray tanned and my clientele's weight range is, I would estimate, between 7 stone and 25 stone. If I were you, I'd certainly go ahead - just grin and bear it if you feel uncomfortable because after just a few minutes' embarrassment, you'll feel and look fantastic (not to mention look slimmer). Go on, DO IT ! ! ! Xx

Hi . . . I don't notice whether the client carries weight . . I'm to busy making sure that i am doing a good job . . . Go for it as Sunspray says it will make you look slimmer makes your skin look nicer, its worth it for just a few minutes xx : )

The first time you have a spraytan is a bit daunting because of getting undressed in front of stranger. however go for it as like others say it will make you feel better instantly and if the spray tan therapist is good they will be concentrating on there job and not what you look like. Dont miss out because you think you are too big for a tan, all shapes and sizes have it done. good luck

Find yourself a mobile lady who will come to your home, you'll feel more comfortable than going to a salon. One of my good friends is large and loves it, especially once she's tanned! The first couple of times I tanned her she wore shorts and a boob tube, not any more, Now she knows I'm more interested in doing my job right than critisising or even noticing her size, we have a joke and she hitches up any excess so she doesn't get any white patches and quite happily strips off when I go round to spray tan her! Go for it, you'll feel great.

Oh I wish I was closer to you I would have happily sprayed you, I am a tanning tech that is very overweight and I remember the first time I had one done I really could have cried the lady that sprayed me wasn't very nice either she made me feel awful so that's when I decided to become a tanning tech myself, if I was you I WOULD go for it, have it done and wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, shorts/vest top whatever you will feel so good about yourself once you see the end result. . . Hi i live in your area and am overweight i felt the same way as yourself but really wanted to get a spray for a wedding i did call a lady called donna and she is mobile she was great and i had my nails done too.
