Hello i've been tanning 4 a while now, but still have trouble with hands. Is it best to apply the cream on the tops of hands as well as the palms? ? And should i apply on knees and elbows as well ? Xxx

Hi, i swear by this method for perfect hands, its adds a couple of mins prep time but worth every extra second!
i apply a dollup on to palms client rubs in herself i show them to spread it over palms and squidge through fingers, taking cream over and around thumb and cuticles and nails, finishing lightly around the bit that just meets the wrist.
tiny amount on knees, elbows, rub in really well. Blob on top of each foot i then spread gently over downward motion over every toe, and rub inbetween toes, slide up side of foot and finally around heel. Some of my ladies are very dry on front lower part of leg i also apply a very light coverage here. Try it and see, but also remember not to spray to heavy on hands i tend to do them twice/3 times just lightly. Ive perfected spraying my own hands and feet this way to to myself, works well everytime!

Hello, I've never had trouble with the hands. I put a small blob of barrier on their palm and get them to rub it in their palms and then rub a small amount on their knuckles, top and bottom joints and cuticles. And when spraying their body when facing me I get them to put their hands in a claw, and when facing their back to me palms flat to the floor.
Yes I get them to rub in a small amount on their elbows and kness. Remember to tell them to rub it in the driest part so they don't get a white ring around their elbows and knees! ! !

Hi can I ask what barrier cream you use? ? I'vebeen using vaseline but some of my clients are complaining of tanned palms, I swear they are touching themselves after i've done:(

Vasaline is not recommended as a barrier cream as it acts as a total block, which is no good when you put apply it all over hands and feet, elbows and knees. There is a video on this site, showing you where to put the barrier cream. Fake Bake to barrier cream, but it is very greasy, the best one is from www. Spraytansupermarket. Com and is cheap.
